BookONO is a free e-book manager, convertor, reader, and web page to pdf convertor designed as a compliment to Calibre. It is written in C++ using the Qt4 (soon to be QT5) Toolkit. It automatically downloads data about ebooks from the web into a neat library and allows users to easily manage their ebooks collection using their desktop computers. It is also aimed to be cross-platform with a web component that will in the future allows users to sync all their books between their different computers with no effort.
It is different from Calibre in that it makes a few different design decisions than Calibre, for instance it does not attempt to put all your books in its own library or change their names. Where Calibre attempts to take complete control over your books, BookONO gives you control over your books. BookONO further attempts to take a different direction in terms of its UI, providing a more user-friendly, aesthetically-pleasing experience than Calibre.
Anyone with ebooks to manage, view, or convert pdfs. Anyone who might also be interesting in saving copies of webpages as pdfs.
